Improve Financial and Relationship Health;
Secure a Promotion

Giselle, 28, New York City
Planner, Top Fashion Design Company

Giselle began working with a coach to: secure an internal promotion at work; get out of debt without excessively rigid spending restrictions; and to have deeper, more satisfying relationships.

While reevaluating her position with her company, and aggressively working toward a promotion at work, Giselle acknowledge a deep desire to start her own business in five years. By acknowledging the importance of this goal, Giselle was motivated to get her finances in order, and put a realistic spending/saving program in place. She continued to spend intelligently, enjoying the experience, without feelings of guilt for necessary indulgences.

By the end of our engagement, Giselle received an "exceeds expectations" at work, and received a 10% raise (the company average was 2.5%). She was informed that she is being groomed to take on a more senior position with the company next year, and was given international responsibilities and additional staff.

Giselle also began a new relationship, and courageously worked toward a deeper level of communication with her partner. She also began conceptualizing the business, supported by her partner, and is strategizing partnerships. She is confident that she will begin it in the next five years, and is planning for it today.

"The people who can benefit from coaching are those who have goals and are not sure how to achieve them or have something stopping them from achieving them. Something that's in the way. I knew there were things I wanted to do, and wasn't doing them but I didn't know why."
